Description

Emerald Knoll' Boxwood is pest and disease resistant and will not bronze in winter. Cold hardy and low maintenance, it impacts the garden with a faster growth rate than other boxwoods. Despite growing quickly, it maintains its low, spreading habit, making it perfect for formal or informal hedges and walkway borders. Its fine-textured, dense foliage creates a lovely backdrop for perennials, adding structure to beds or small gardens

Plant Care

Water

Moist, well-drained soil

Fertilizer

In early spring, just as new growth begins to emerge, use a balanced, slow-release granular fertilizer like 10-10-10. Do not fertilize after mid-summer as it encourages tender new growth that will be killed by the first winter frost.

Pruning

Prune as needed for shape or density during growing season.
