Description
Dark green evergreen foliage with purple-red new growth provides a backdrop for showstopping deep pink blooms in spring. This pieris produces richer, deeper, and more abundant flowers than other varieties. Small, bell-shaped blooms cover the upright stalks, nearly obscuring the foliage and drawing in local pollinators. After blooming, this compact and tidy shrub provides a lovely, low-maintenance backdrop for summer perennials.

Fertilize in the early spring, just as new growth begins to emerge or buds start to swell.
