Perennial
Height 8-10"
Spread 8-12"
Meet Sweet Daisy Izabel: a sun-loving beauty featuring unique, semi-double flowers that open bright yellow and soften to creamy vanilla. This compact gem delivers elite summer color with almost no effort. It is naturally disease, deer, and rabbit resistant, making it completely worry-free. Perfect for easy pots, borders and cut flowers, it keeps on blooming while you just sit back and enjoy the show!
Water
Soak deeply when the top 2 inches of soil feel completely dry. Water 2–3 times a week for the first month to establish roots. Once mature, reduce watering to once a week, or only during hot, dry spells. Containers: Check daily; pots dry fast and need watering every 1–2 days in mid-summer. Always avoid overwatering, as soggy roots will cause the plant to rot.
Fertilizer
Apply a slow-release, balanced fertilizer only once per year in early spring as new growth emerges.
Pruning
Deadhead spent blooms to encourage continuous flowering; cut stems back to about 12 inches after the main bloom period to promote reblooming.
Summer
Large semi-double flowers undergo a beautiful color transformation. They open as a rich, bright golden-yellow and mature into a soft, creamy pastel-yellow as the weeks progress. This gives the plant a multi-toned, ever-changing look all summer long.
Fall
With regular deadheading, 'Izabel' will continue pushing out new, lighter yellow blooms well into September. As autumn temperatures drop, the blooming will finally stop, and the dark green foliage will hold its neat shape until the first hard winter freeze hits.
